Cocktails history: Tommy's Margarita

Created in the early 1990s by Julio Bermejo, this cocktail takes its name from the family restaurant-bar in San Francisco, self-proclaimed "the best tequila bar on earth". Tommy's Margarita is now located in all the cocktail lists of the best bars in the world and, at the same time, the small family restaurant where this fabulous drink was born has become a mecca for bartenders and curious people who want to try to taste it, living an unforgettable experience. Compared to the classic Margarita, it enhances its flavor by replacing triple sec with agave syrup that is not by chance extracted from a fat plant in Mexico: the Agave Tequiliana Weber.
